Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Completes Acquisition of Macquarie AirFinance

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% of Macquarie AirFinance Limited, further strengthening the Dubai-based aircraft leasing company’s global presence and portfolio.

The acquisition marks a significant expansion for DAE, adding Macquarie AirFinance’s aircraft portfolio and capabilities to its existing aircraft leasing operations.
The transaction is expected to enhance DAE’s position in the global aviation finance and aircraft leasing market, while expanding its relationships with airlines and other aviation industry partners.

Macquarie AirFinance has established a strong presence in the commercial aircraft leasing sector, with operations serving airlines across multiple international markets.

DAE said the completion of the acquisition represents an important milestone in its long-term growth strategy and reinforces Dubai’s position as a global centre for aviation, aircraft financing and leasing.

The deal also highlights continued consolidation and investment in the global aircraft leasing industry as airlines seek flexible fleet solutions and demand for newer, more fuel-efficient aircraft remains strong.
