Dubai Fans Get First Look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Exclusive Dawn Screening
Spider-Man fans in Dubai are getting an exclusive first look at the web-slinger's latest outing. Reel Cinemas is hosting a special fan screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day at Dubai Mall on Wednesday, 29 July — a full 24 hours before the film's regional release — giving UAE audiences the chance to be among the first anywhere to see it.
Billed as a ‘Fan Dawn Screening', the event begins early, with doors opening at 7am, and is set to be one of the earliest public showings of the film in the region. It is designed as more than a standard trip to the cinema, with organisers promising trivia sessions, giveaways, challenges and other fan experiences before the lights go down.
A city-sized welcome
Dubai has rolled out the kind of welcome usually reserved for the biggest blockbusters. Ahead of the screening, the Burj Khalifa — the world's tallest building — lit up with a promotional display featuring Marvel's superhero, marking the film's arrival in the emirate ahead of its wider regional release.
The spectacle is part of a broader campaign around the release, tapping into peak summer, when Dubai's malls and cinemas draw crowds seeking air-conditioned entertainment. Reel Cinemas' flagship at Dubai Mall makes a fitting host for the region's earliest look at one of the year's most anticipated titles.
What to expect from the film
The new instalment continues the story of Peter Parker, once again played by Tom Holland, alongside Zendaya, picking up his journey some years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home as he navigates life following the sacrifices he made to protect those around him. Following the enormous success of that previous chapter, Brand New Day is positioned as the next step in the character's big-screen arc.
Beyond the plot, the film arrives as part of the wider Marvel slate, and fans will be watching closely for how it fits into what is coming next. For now, though, the focus in Dubai is on the rare chance to see it first.
How to attend
The fan screening takes place at Reel Cinemas, Dubai Mall, on Wednesday, 29 July, with doors opening at 7am. Advance booking is available through Reel Cinemas' official channels, including the link in its Instagram bio. Fans are advised to book early, as demand for early-access screenings of major releases tends to be high, and to check show timings, language options and seating when reserving.
For those who miss the dawn event, the film moves into its regular run at cinemas across the UAE the following day, as part of its wider release.
