Dubai Health Launches Interactive Programme Inspiring Children To Explore Future Of Healthcare
Dubai Health is seeding the next generation of healthcare innovators with its new educational programme "Dream-It, Dubai-It," which introduces children to medicine, health and innovation. The initiative is being run from 15 to 30 July aims at enabling young participants to explore advanced technologies, enhance creative thinking and knowledge in healthcare through a hands-on interactive learning model.
The initiative has inspired the Dubai Health for Youth Programme which is open to children aged 10-13 and aims at generating a stream of future changemakers who can help develop healthcare advancements that improve lives.
"DREAM-IT, DUBAI-IT" is all about doing rather than listening or writing which are the traditional classroom structures that we know of and most are functional for experiential education which traces the path of curiosity, creativity and problem solving.
Delegates will take part in hands-on workshops that provide insight into how technology and innovation are shaping the future of patient care. Children will be educated through workshops, conversations and real-world experiences to learn about the multitude of job possibilities in healthcare.
The program aims to inspire young people and enable them to think outside the box while finding solutions that could change the way healthcare will look next decade.

In addition, participants will take part in educational visits to the Etihad Museum and Dubai Future Foundation to link healthcare innovation with the broader vision for the future of Dubai.
Turning Ideas into Real Projects
The programme will have a stronger focus on encouraging children to get outside the classroom and use what they learn in imaginative ways.
Participants will be building their own healthcare-based ideas and projects throughout the program. At the end of the event, they will showcase their final projects in a special showcase, showcasing skills acquired and creativity and knowledge attained throughout this two-week experience.
This allows for confidence-building, teamwork, communication and out-of-the-box thinking by allowing the child to work on things as a project.
