Dubai Police reveal all-new smart patrol cars integrated with AI
Dubai Police, which is a pioneer in the space of applied artificial intelligence (AI), has unveiled its second generation of Ghiath smart patrol vehicles that highlight leading-edge technologies, performance and modes of sustainable mobility to deliver strong support for field operations and emergency response. Built on the DENZA B8 plug-in hybrid platform, next-gen patrol cars are co-developed with Al-Futtaim—BYD's sole distributor in the UAE.
The announcement took place at an official ceremony which included Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD Company and Omar Al Futtaim, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al-Futtaim along with sufficiency Dubai police officials. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Dubai Police and Al-Futtaim was also inked at the event to develop the futuristic class of Ghiath patrol vehicles.

Officials from Dubai Police say that the partnership with Al-Futtaim and BYD represents a step forward for efficient service delivery through leveraging new technology to deliver public safety services, whilst also supporting green mobility.
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri said that the strategic partnership is a continuation of Dubai Police's efforts in enhancing efficiency and innovation by providing officers with high-end technologies and sustainable security solutions. He pointed out that the initiative backs Dubai's long-term vision of building a smart, seamless and ecofriendly security transport ecosystem.
