A train journey from Fujairah Station towards the Hajar mountains has offered one of the clearest previews yet of how inter-emirate travel in the UAE could soon transform. As Etihad Rail prepares to launch its highly anticipated passenger services in phases during 2026, residents got a first look at the country’s modern rail experience.
The journey, which travelled from Fujairah Station towards Al Bithnah Bridge, highlighted the comfort, speed and convenience that passengers can expect once services officially begin.
A First Look at Fujairah Station
Fujairah Station is the first fully completed passenger station in the Etihad Rail network. The station features:

“We are very conscious that for many residents, and many families, this will be their first experience of rail travel. That is why so much thought has gone into the station experience with clear signage, comfortable spaces, and staff who are there to help.”
