TBHF Launches Back-to-School Campaign to Support 3,000 Students

As a new school year approaches, The Big Heart Foundation is turning school supplies into a lifeline for children facing difficult circumstances.

TBHF has launched its 2026 Back-to-School Campaign to support 3,000 students in Gaza, Egypt and Sharjah.

The initiative will provide school supplies, educational assistance and tuition support.

Support Across Gaza, Egypt and Sharjah

Children in Gaza will receive essential learning supplies despite severe disruption to education.

Students from low-income families in Egypt will receive complete school bags.

In Sharjah, donations will support students at The Big Heart Educational Centre.

Community Packing Drive in Sharjah

People in the UAE can take part in a four-day school-bag packing activation at City Centre Al Zahia.

The activation runs from August 20 to 23.

Volunteers can participate daily from 10am to 11pm on the mall’s first floor near Home Centre.

Participants will pack notebooks, stationery and other essential learning materials.

City Centre Al Zahia is providing the venue, while partners are supporting logistics for overseas deliveries.

Donation Options Available

TBHF has created several donation levels to make the campaign accessible to different supporters.

• AED 200: Complete school-supplies package for one student
• AED 500: One month of tuition at The Big Heart Educational Centre
• AED 7,000: Tuition and transportation for one student for a full academic year

Donations can start from AED 10 through the foundation’s official online donation platform.

Keeping Education Within Reach

TBHF said a child’s circumstances should not determine access to basic learning tools.

The campaign aims to remove immediate barriers caused by poverty, displacement and conflict.

It also gives communities a practical way to support children whose education has been disrupted.

• Join the packing activation at City Centre Al Zahia from August 20–23.
