UAE-India flights: Airfares drop by nearly 30% on these routes; July return fares from Dh1,029
For all UAE-based residents planning to travel for some days in the month of October this year, airfares to India are nearly about 20 -30% cheaper on more than a dozen routes returned.
While return journeys to the many destinations in north and west India have dropped to just over Dh1,000, tickets to cities in south India are still more expensive. The drop in fares will likely last just over a few days in July, they said, with prices rising on August travel.

The analysis reveals that north & west Indian travel brings the best deals today to the traveller while places such as Kerala and beach locations in Karnataka remain several hundred dirhams pricier even after a recent dip.
Airfares had eased after June 14 when a fare check for the same travel dates found ticket prices were 20 to 30 per cent higher.
Travel agents say the drop in fares are primarily a result of a post-early summer travel slowdown. Ticket prices are set to increase once again in August as families embark upon one last holiday at the end of summer before schools reopen, and India-bound flights see demand peak.
