UAE residents choose bundle staycation packages in Ras Al Khaimah for Eid Al Adha
With many UAE residents opting for staycations within driving distance of home, hotels throughout Ras Al Khaimah are enjoying positive occupancy leading up to Eid Al Adha. Convenience, value and experience-led holidays near home are priorities for travellers.
There is high demand for vacationing families for bundled resort packages inclusive of accommodation, dining and stay experiences, according to a round-up from Phillipa Harrison.
Growing Preference for All-Inclusive Packages
Harrison said travellers are starting to gravitate away from individual hotel stays, and instead into customised resort experiences. However, many visitors are including luxury travellers, need packages which include:
-
Dining experiences
-
Wellness activities
-
Family entertainment
-
Resort leisure programmes
This is keeping hotel occupancy levels up across the emirate or during the Eid holiday period.

Reasons that make Ras Al Khaimah residents prefer their way of life
According to tourism officials, Ras Al Khaimah remains popular with UAE residents thanks to its natural scenery, large resorts, outdoor activities and quiet surroundings. Eid is a busy time for many families, who tend to prefer leisurely trips that are more convenient and — let’s face it — less exhausting than long-haul travel.
With the emirate of Abu Dhabi, which has become a favourite staycation destination in the UAE, hotels are also concentrating on curated Eid experiences around wellness, entertainment and family-friendly activities.
