UAE to see rains, strong winds in some areas until September 7

Residents across the UAE can expect changing weather conditions over the coming days, with rainfall, strong winds, dust and fluctuating temperatures forecast across parts of the country.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the UAE is entering a period of transitional weather. Southerly winds, dust and reduced visibility may occur before north-westerly winds bring a noticeable drop in temperatures.

Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from southeasterly to northwesterly and becoming fresh to strong at times. Wind speeds are expected to reach 55 km/h, with blowing dust and sand possible.
