UAE weather alert: Temperatures to hit 47°C as dusty conditions and strong winds sweep country
The UAE is expected to witness hot and dusty weather conditions over the next few days as a weak surface low-pressure system influences the country, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be rough, especially in western regions.

Dust and Wind Conditions Until Saturday
The NCM said dusty weather is expected to continue through Saturday. Southwesterly to northwesterly winds could reach speeds of up to 50 km/h on Friday, leading to poor horizontal visibility in some locations.
Sea Conditions
Arabian Gulf: Moderate to very rough at times through the weekend.
Oman Sea: Slight sea conditions are expected.
Chance of Fog and Mist
From Saturday onwards, humidity levels are expected to increase during the night and early morning hours in some coastal areas. This may lead to the formation of mist or fog in isolated locations.
Residents are advised to stay updated with official weather forecasts and exercise caution while driving in dusty conditions.
