Visitors Practice Yoga Beneath the Iconic Dome at Louvre Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 22 June 2026 – Louvre Abu Dhabi marked the 12th edition of the International Day of Yoga on 21 June by once again hosting Yoga Under the Dome, welcoming hundreds of participants for a serene morning of movement and connection.

Organised in collaboration with the Embassy of India, the free guided session took place beneath the iconic dome ahead of public opening hours, bringing together participants of all experience levels for a shared moment of tranquillity, mindfulness and wellbeing within one of the UAE’s most remarkable cultural landmarks. The session was attended by Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE, reflecting the close cultural ties and shared spirit of collaboration between the two countries.

A unique cultural gathering, Yoga Under the Dome offered visitors a slow, grounding start to summer surrounded by light, openness and calm. 

The exceptional response reflects strong public interest in Louvre Abu Dhabi’s wellness programming, which continues to expand across diverse audiences.
